S&W .44 H.E. 1st Model, (Triple Lock)
Invt. No. B47-2303, SOLD
This is an example of the first side-swing type revolver designed to fire the big
bore .44 S&W Special cartridges. The First Model Hand Ejector acquired the nickname
of “Triple-Lock” because of the three Crane / Cylinder locking points. They are
the front of the cylinder pin, rear of the cylinder pin and special locking bolts
at the crane front. This third lock was found unnecessary and was discontinued in
1915. A S&W letter accompanies this piece stating that it was shipped from the factory
on February 10, 1916 and delivered to Cowdrey & Co. New York City, NY. The records
indicate it was shipped with a 6 ½” barrel, Nickel finish, and checkered walnut gold
medallion grips. The current pearl grips are an aftermarket addition. This revolver
appears to be unfired with a few corrosion spots coming through the original nickel
finish. It is factory tight and appears to have been well stored and cared for.
.44 S&W Special Cal. with a 6 ½” barrel. Serial Number 11756, FFL Req’d.
This is a beautiful 1st. generation (1906) SAA revolver chambered in .38 Spl. with
a 4 ¾” barrel. It has been enhanced by Colts Master Engraver Ron P. Nott, a friend,
who passed in 2010. It is beautifully engraved in Ron’s masterful scroll style.
A tasteful appointment of Gold inlay is set into the blue barrel, grip, and hammer
with the frame contrasted nicely with case colors. The grips are one piece Ivory
complementing this fine firearm. The bore is Exc. the revolver has a silk smooth
action as would be expected in a firearm from the bench of Ron P. Nott. This is
clearly an investment grade firearm from the finest of craftsmen and a chance of
a lifetime buy. Serial Number: 286275, FFL Req’d.
Hamada Type 2 pistols were Manufactured at the Notobe factory and were to be delivered
“in the white” to the Toriimatsu factory for bluing, final inspection and distribution.
Production started in Feb 1944 with deliveries that year. Only examples of the
first 50 pistols of this model have survived, they all remain “in the white”, they
were apparently never delivered or processed by the Torimatsu factory.
Only 17 of
these pistols were known survivors, until recently. This pistol, serial Number
28 is the 18th known survivor.
This pistol is so rare it makes a Colt Walker Revolver
look common. Number 28 remains unfinished, “in the white”, with no corrosion, pitting,
or other environmental damage. It has matching numbers including Grips and Magazine.
The bore is excellent and function is flawless. It is accompanied by the original
Type 94 holster it was “Souvinered” with.
This is a very rare Japanese WWII military
pistol and clearly an investment grade Firearm. Serial Number 28, FFL Req’d.

This Rifle is a non-import, Vet bring back souvenir. This code ar 42, K98k rifle
was manufactured by Mauser Borgsigwalde, Berlin in 1942. It was manufactured with
a scope mount machined into the rear sight base. The ZF-41 scope is mounted to this
rifle. This is not a collector enhancement; it is original from the factory. The
rifle is equipped with a mismatched bolt from a G33/40. We’ve all heard the story,
rifles in one pile, bolts in another, pick ones that fit together. Too bad it’s
not matching, but at least it’s a very desirable and valuable bolt. Sorry but I
won’t sell the bolt separately, it’s a part of history and I’m not fooling with it.
All other part numbers match, optics are clear, and the bore is dark. This is an
original historically correct rifle that has not been improved by collectors. Cal.

This Rifle is a non-import, Vet bring back souvenir in beautiful original condition.
It has all matching serial numbers, and an excellent bore. The stock was lightly
sanded at some point but all serial numbers and acceptance stamps are still clearly
visible. It is an early rifle “c” block and as such is provided with the threaded
muzzle. The muzzle nut which serves to protect the thread is missing but the thread
remains in fine condition. The front sight is equipped with a sight hood from a
K98, slightly lower than the G or K 43 hoods. The hood mounted, is matching in patina
and wear and replacement should be avoided in the interest of historical correctness.
The handguard is the correct Duflo for this rifle. The Magazine is in original
paint finish and is correctly marked “aye, WaAB43, G43” Cal. 8mm, Serial Number:
